Souvenir ATM

The Milan metro is a benchmark project. The pioneering work of Albini, Helg, Noorda inspired the systematization of the New York City subway system, while at the same time influencing the graphic and architectural design of subways around the world. Every year, during Salone del Mobile, an audience of designers, artists and architects rediscovers the precision of the original design. Over the years, transportation companies in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid—to name some of the best known and most refined networks—have developed official merchandising outlets. Building on these examples, on the occasion of Salone 2025, we propose a temporary project that can prefigure a merchandise store related to the Milan metro.
